Protected job access
Each submitted job receives a protected access token. The browser uses that token to check progress and download the result. Job identifiers and access tokens are kept separate from the uploaded filename shown in the interface.
Temporary processing
Uploaded files are stored for processing and result delivery, not as a personal document archive. Temporary workspaces, output files, and job records are subject to account retention limits and automatic cleanup. Keep your own copy of important source and result files.
The current default retention is one hour for guests, two hours for members, and 24 hours for subscribers after job expiry. Feedback records are retained for one year by default. Production overrides must be reflected in the Privacy Policy.
Passwords and protected PDFs
Security tools process passwords through the conversion request rather than exposing them in ordinary job metadata. Use Protect PDF to apply PDF encryption, and use Unlock PDF only when you know the password and have authorization to modify the document.
Redaction is destructive
Redact PDF rewrites a document to remove selected content and hidden data. Keep the original, review the output, and remember that a visual mark placed over text is not the same as permanent redaction.
External providers
Cloud imports, translation, webpage rendering, and AI summarization may involve external providers. Provider-specific terms, availability, and retention rules can apply. AI summarization uses OpenRouter for extracted document text; avoid confidential or regulated data.
External advertising is not loaded until the visitor grants advertising consent. Analytics is not currently active. Review or change optional choices through Privacy settings in the footer.
Responsible use
You are responsible for having permission to upload and modify a document. Convert for You does not verify ownership, copyright, authorization, or the sensitivity classification of your files.
